Why?
Citadel Advisors and Black Rock aren't shareholders?
I don't think holding shares and at the same time shorting shares are mutually exclusive but I will bow to your greater knowledge of the stock market.
Why?

Does it include those that are shorting the stock?
Which ones don't know our side of the story?
If these shareholders are in it for the long term then a dip in the share price isn't actually going to have any effect.
According to Dave Ward VESA has been invited .TopperGas wrote: ↑14 Dec 2022, 18:56Has anybody got a link to that post as I can't trace it, but there are dozens of threads it could be on?walthmstowman wrote: ↑14 Dec 2022, 13:38There is a list of what shareholders are attending the meeting on another thread . Is DK or his brokers attending, if not, then what's the point of the meeting, as it seems he could well be behind RM's attempts to destroy the CWU?

Unless I'm missing something that's just a list of our biggest shareholders not a list of who's attending, although given the proportion of shares owned by Vesa if they don't attend then it seems a pretty pointless meeting.walthmstowman wrote: ↑14 Dec 2022, 19:53TopperGas wrote: ↑14 Dec 2022, 18:56Has anybody got a link to that post as I can't trace it, but there are dozens of threads it could be on?walthmstowman wrote: ↑14 Dec 2022, 13:38There is a list of what shareholders are attending the meeting on another thread . CHRISTMAS STRIKES TO GO ON AS ROYAL MAIL CEOs IGNORE PEACE COMPROMISE
Planned Christmas strikes are set to go ahead, after Royal Mail bosses chose to ignore a peace offer from workers’ representatives to get Christmas back on track and tackle the postal backlog.
Today (Tuesday 13th December), the CWU made simple solutions to end the current dispute:
- A back-dated pay deal of 9% over 18 months;
- A long-term job security commitment from Royal Mail CEOs;
- A pause on the ongoing attacks on union representatives and members;
- A period of calm for negotiations on the future direction of the company.

The others are other vague solutions with no detail that can be ignored/ripped up at ST's whim. If those are CWU's solutions
to end the dispute (direct quote from above) they're misreading the room. What about no CR, no commit to deliver,
no annualised hours and all the other 'red lines'?
Ballix as usual from you they wanted 13th an 14th called off refused cwu's offer now the reason we are on strike 2day an 2moro.wandle wrote: ↑14 Dec 2022, 23:27Nobody seems to grasp the significance of what has happened.
Royal Mail initiated this latest conversation. They asked, in essence, what things can we put on the table to get you to call a truce for the 23rd/24th?
People are saying ‘RM have already written-off Christmas 2022 and will introduce everything they want anyway, in January’. If that’s true, why are they now pleading for compromise???
23rd an 24th going ahead rm not interested in a deal jut wanna bash union.wandle wrote: ↑14 Dec 2022, 23:27Nobody seems to grasp the significance of what has happened.

All I know is the union said all those major shareholders have been invited . Obviously we can't force them to attend but hopefully they will all be there . Apart from hearing from our point of view its also their opportunity to ask the union any questions they have so I would be surprised if they didn't turn up .TopperGas wrote: ↑14 Dec 2022, 21:29Unless I'm missing something that's just a list of our biggest shareholders not a list of who's attending, although given the proportion of shares owned by Vesa if they don't attend then it seems a pretty pointless meeting.walthmstowman wrote: ↑14 Dec 2022, 19:53TopperGas wrote: ↑14 Dec 2022, 18:56Has anybody got a link to that post as I can't trace it, but there are dozens of threads it could be on?walthmstowman wrote: ↑14 Dec 2022, 13:38There is a list of what shareholders are attending the meeting on another thread .
