Hi,
I wonder if anyone could help me to understand what's going on for my parcel.
I am waiting for HMPO to ship back a very important document ( passport from other country with visa ) to me through Royal Mail Tracked 48 Delivery.
It was sent at 01 Dec. from Liverpool to Edinburgh. Tracking number is FF329653452GB.
The latest tracking history show it arrived PSC Atherstone at 08 Dec. But royal mail customer service line tells me it has arrived in Edinburgh MC at Dec 04. Instead of going to DO, it went to PSC Atherstone. Could someone help me to understand what's the issue here? Is it a mis-routing or lost? Is there anything I could do now other than waiting?

Tracked at Edinburgh today.
Looks to me like it was sent to Atherstone in error, now corrected.
BTW I wouldn’t send passports by Tracked 48, it isn’t secure. Should have used Special Delivery.

Thank you so much for checking this. It was a document returned to me from Passport Office. Though I paid extra £5 to ask for a secure delivery, they still use Tracked 48 instead of the better one like special delivery.
I guess it should be arrived early next week then. I will update the result when I got it.

It delivered yesterday!
Thank you. I will issue a complaint to HMPO. They are not suppose to use tracked 48 for this.
