Tracking is MZ071915112GB. Domestic delivery UK to UK by the way. My stuff usually goes to Chelmsford MC.
This is a large letter format. Is it gonna be delivered from Heathrow to me in Essex or is it an error? Thanks.

Yes, it says it is being sent to my local delivery office but I wonder how… do they have a van just for my item, going to a DO 90 miles away in North Essex?
I do check out the daily service update and Chelmsford was not on the list today. I assumed it was either an error or that Heathrow was taking it because the other MC was struggling, like you say.
It is weird because the sender sent together on the same day last Friday a special delivery that I received today and that was routed through Chelmsford as usual. The items were both scanned at Birmingham Mc like 10 mins apart but the special delivery progressed quicker.
I remember last month I checked the tracking of a special delivery during the night. It was supposed to go from Birmingham MC to Chelmsford MC as usual but that time I saw it was being despatched to Peterborough MC.
What is odd is that by the morning that tracking point had disappeared and my item had reached Chelmsford as normal. Does that happen? Tracking events being changed? I swear it is all true. I was worried when I saw it in fact.

There are many possibilities. It could have just been missorted (a lot of casuals work at RM over Christmas), or it could ave been that RM used Heathrow to deal with the overflow.
No, your parcel won't be the only one. If they are sending it there to sort then it will be in a trolley with other stuff bound for your Delivery Office.
To be honest it's all guesswork from here as I am in Yorkshire so I don't get to hear any unofficial stuff happening down south, only what Royal Mail update on their site.
Sometimes old tracking is overwritten by new updates so its not unheard of. But I would suggest contacting an official point of contact as they will have more access to information than we do on R<C.

Did not come today. Just had other post delivered. Starting to think it went there by mistake. The label is printed and it is what Click and Drop online generates. My address does not look like anything that is near Heathrow either.
I contacted RM on Twitter already yesterday about this tracked 24, but usually they reply days later when I already received the stuff :/. I should have never used this tracked 24.
