8% to 9% with all terms and conditions the same they already have a new contract for new people from 31/10/2022 that you could get in most other employers for less work!

InflTion and working terms and. Conditions are two separate things - we shouldn't mix up them. Inflation related pay rise is a stand alone subject. Every company should recognise the 10% Inflation and related pay rise must be at least 15%. This is an acknowledgement of the situation. Then next step would be how much the company afford to pay now in cash and remainder will be deferred to create a loan accounts for future payables

working terms and conditions ais a separate debate and it shouldn't be seen a choice between the two..
