It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Nobody can make you do anything. Refuse to work past your contracted hours and remind them overtime is not compulsory. Try not to stress yourself out to much and speak to your Rep about any training issues or any other difficulties you are having. Good luck mate.SalJ wrote:Well i've enjoyed about 4months of this job and now the last 2 months have been s**t! I get put on walks I dont have a clue about, they make me work 11 hour days and just because I'm new! I'm signed off with depression and will prob get a stage warning because it's my first year of employment but nevermind life will go on!

our DOM has 300 staff and only 6 Lineos (1 is a floater) so I don't think there is standard for the amount of peeps you can manage.DOM wrote:4 DOMS to 60 staff......that can't be right.
