Here’s my guess (for what it’s worth):
They ask the union to call off the strikes this week to ‘consider the proposal’. We kow-tow to it. They then ask for longer ‘to consider it further’ and we call off the next round(s). They’ll hang this out for a month then, in the new year, with christmas firmly behind us, they’ll royally screw us and backtrack once again to continue their executive actions.
Unless we see anything concrete - and in writing and signed off this time, because they’ve refused to do so in the past - I think we should continue with *all* the proposed strikes. If the union don’t, then I’m out of it, then out of this job after working over half my life for this company in 2023.

Now the CWU have torn up the legal protections in the Agenda For Growth with the pay deal ballot, the last thing ST will agree to is an agreement set in stone.
