“They want Royal Mail to deliver” where is this coming from? the customer doesn’t care knowing your customers is a thing of the past. Who do u think they remember, the guy bringing shiny Amazon parcels or the guy in the battered van with mail sort and D2Ds

Of course our customers care to receive their post in a timely manner. Their doctors letters hospital appointments legal documents etc etc. When the uso is run by a private company all the company cares about is weather it's profitable and not the value the general public place on it. That's why the responsibility for running a country's USO should be shouldered by the government. Whether that be with ownership or through subsidy.

Might it be suggested to the CWU that holding strike days on the day of a home nations World Cup game and the day immediately after should ensure strong workforce participation!

They just need to post all the strike dates up to xmas and bloody stick to them,carry on striking until the deal is done,all this silence and cancelling of strikes, threats from Royal Mail and bosses is rising stress levels in all the workforce it feels like a boiling pot ready to explode,people need to know and prepare especially at this time of year,so cwu pull your finger out and announce strike dates up to xmas

That’s why all strikes must go ahead as planned . Union must now announce strike dates during December.

I’m not sure that’s what they’re doing, more like self preservation from where I’m standing, all the talk is EVRs

My grandad retired on a final salary pension, bought his council house for about 2 quid. Retired early at 60.

There are forces at play here, that Unions alone can't defeat, is what I'm saying.

Soon enough working for Royal Mail will be a job that nobody with half a brain would even consider. Pretty much if you're young, you need to skill up for something in demand, or you'll get screwed.

as for evr's and saying no reps are to facilitate them in the 1to1's, well quite a few in our d/o wouldn't want the cwu in there anyway
an enforced overtime ban as caused mayhem in our place but the cwu said it wouldn't work and too late to do anything now anyway,

rmg may as well add £200 increase to the pay offer because they'll be no union subs to pay soon!
we have 4 to 5 weeks to sort this out otherwise we are doomed, though some would rather fall to their knees and get an xmas pudding they don't like and 50 stamps never to be used
