Package returned to sender

Post by Woooosh »

Hello. I ordered some stuff from the UK, destination country is Greece. Package was lacking recipient name, so after it reached Greek customs, it was returned back to the UK. Cannot contact sender, but I have the tracking number and I'm willing to pay whatever so it gets sent back to me. What can I do? Thanks in advance.

It should be returned to you, as long as you put your name and address on the outside of the package. There is no charge for this.

Just to clarify, you are the receiver ?

If so there is no process at Royal Mail or Customs for the parcel to be sent to you once it has started being returned to the sender.

However, you should contact the sender, and if it is their mistake, you should be able to get a free replacement, refund, or the original sent on to you. However, the sender will need to pay postage again.
