Re: General Election?
If Simon Thompson was hoping that Liz Truss would stick to her promises to swiftly introduce anti-strike legislation which would let RM off the hook for Christmas, then today is a very bad day for him.
I doubt that trade unions will be at the top of the new leaders "to do" list. In fact, the new PM may consider that a spell of prolonged industrial action and the subsequent disruption may help to turn voters against the Labour party before any general election.

Re: General Election?
It's a globalist coup, it's happened in a few countries who elected non globalist leaders.
The hedgefunders all shorted the pound to crash the economy, then the media blamed the mini budget. Now the globalists will get their people in power. And the plan will continue.
All this has been reported in a few newspapers, but most people see the headline and follow the crowd.

Re: General Election?
Remember when David Cameron announced a referendum on membership of the EU to heal the rifts in the Conservative party? That went well.

I always find it amusing that conspiracy theorists, can look at the world, and think "there must be a plan, somebody else must be pulling the strings here".Partyondude wrote: ↑20 Oct 2022, 16:44It's a globalist coup, it's happened in a few countries who elected non globalist leaders.

There is no plan.

Re: General Election?
Morally there should obviously now be an election. They shouldn’t be allowed to get away with a second prime minister in a row with no mandate from the British public. Unfortunately they have no morals and my guess is they will stumble on, lurching from one shambles to another, inflicting more harm on the country and the majority of the population in the hope they can delay the inevitable election defeat and keep a few more seats.
