We had 1 postie do that at my DO he was dismissed for delay of mail of something as the contract with the sender was not completed. He did the same as you for years before he was caught. After all how do you know if its a test letter from your manager or IBS or not.LUV THE SMELL OF LETTERS wrote:If I have to sign for it I normally rip the orange sticker off so the customer dont even know its a signed for. You may laugh I had a word with the guy that does that on my estate - 37 hours a week Mon Fri with early finish Friday and take home of £250 - I did think about applying myself - drawback - no chance of OT or bonuses and the Union for them is Unison (not sure if that's good or bad) and pay rises decided by central government so less than inflation while Brown is in charge,LUV THE SMELL OF LETTERS wrote:thats true. dont do it every 1 like just if they arnt in. normally know the person aswell. 1 day i may get caught. even if i do so what. only be comin out with 150 quid a week soon anyway. be a better job picking fag buts off the street

Unless there is a physical reason that the recipient cannot sign for the letter (ie. blind or unable to use their hand) then you try to get them signed and if your unable to get it signed for then P739 it and return it to the office.LUV THE SMELL OF LETTERS wrote:theflyingpostman wrote:LUV THE SMELL OF LETTERS wrote:If I have to sign for it I normally rip the orange sticker off so the customer dont even know its a signed for.
