Hi all,
My SD next day guarantee has been stuck on accepted at post office (the first step) since it was sent Monday. It hasn’t updated at all since and didn’t come today (Tuesday) when it should have. I’m not hopeful it’ll come tomorrow (Wednesday) as usually it updates to in transit and works through the system from 8pm up to when it’s out for delivery at around 7am.
Any idea what the issue could be? I rung Royal Mail and they told me there isn’t any issues anywhere and they don’t know why it wasn’t delivered.

Without a tracking number to see any updated tracking its difficult to advise anything.
It's possible that the post office put it in the wrong bag, if so it will be found at an MC and correctly routed. However, there are delays in the MCs.
It's also possible it was sent after the last collection time and wasn't collected til l Tuesday. But I would expect to see some movement on the tracking system by now (one reason why we ask for the tracking number)
The least likely case is that the Post Office have forgotten to give it to the collection postie and its still waiting there.
Tracking numbers give no personal details (like an address or name) all they give is the location they were last scanned, this may indicate which AREA the address is in but won't give any access to the details not even to street level.
