Lost reference/tracking number - help!

Post by lynnemorris99 »

Helllpppp!
I have stupidly thrown away the postal receipt for an item mailed second class signed for.
The recipient is now telling me he never received it and I don’t know what to do.
Can anyone offer some advice on how I can proceed?
I have the date and time of postage, proof of payment on my bank account and the address to where it was going.

None of the info you mentioned is any help. Two things to try:

If you looked at the tracking on a website, check your browser history.

eBay has a facility to record the tracking number of the item you sold, did you do that?

I did none of that! I’m feeling really stupid and incredibly frustrated. It’s a hard lesson to learn.
Hopefully it will turn up, it’s only been five days.
