Always stay in the "Sender preparing item" state

Post by frank10302 »

I bought Father's Day gifts for my father last Thursday and plan to travel to Birmingham on Sunday to celebrate Father's Day.
Therefore, the seller uses Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed 1pm and sends it out on Friday afternoon (the seller said).
I don’t know that I need to buy Saturday delivery separately to deliver on Saturday. This is my own problem.
But my tracking information always stays in "Sender preparing item"
Today is Monday, there is still no update :cry

“We're expecting it
Tracking no. JS693177477GB

The sender has let us know this item will be with us soon.”

The seller told me that he confirmed that he had delivered the package to Royal Mail for collection on Friday.

It was delivered to the mail centre last night, about the time you made that post. It looks like the sender did not hand it over to Royal Mail when they said they would. I would check the contract with the seller and, if it arrives later than they promised, apply for a refund from the seller.
