Thank you. I was looking for this kind of insight so I appreciate you taking the time to post that. Are you saying then that you have to work 7 hours to complete a round that they tell you can be done in six? What happens for the extra hour? Do you get paid overtime or not at all? Do you even want to work the extra hour or would you prefer to only work 6?

Is this truly happening all over the country or is it more localised as in most areas are ok but some are really bad? Honestly. And why is London such a problem in all this which is where the majority of the delays and strikes are?
they used to tell me it could be done in six but after being a difficult fooker and them doing such a half arsed attempt at setting me up for a conduct code, they were forced to time it PROPERLY.now they know its over and breaks several agreements and health and safety rules.

who honestly wants to go to work not knowing when they will be home?
if they wanted me for 6 i will do 6
if they wanted me to do 7 then i will sign a contract for seven hours pay.
i donot get an overtime payment ,i will get normal pay only for the hours i work.
it saves them alot of money...thats why they employ people on 1 hour contracts.they obviously want them for more than one hour.but if they do a 40 hour week for 10 years, they would still pay him one hours wages for a weeks holiday.
last christmas i did a 67 hour week.after 50 hours i actually got paid LESS than my normal hourly pay..figure that fooker out.and that was sunday collections too
i could go on and on...just ask ill tell all....worst ever company :Boo hoo!

This year I have posted 5 parcels, of these 2 went missing.
The last one was a camera lens sold on e-bay for £180 ! Had to give the guy his money back
RM customer services contacted the sorting office who confirmed the item had gone missing ! Question is how long will I have to wait for my money, a claim can only be made 10 working days after an item goes missing and customer services have up to 30 days to respond !
No doubt any refund (yes it was insured) will not cover the time and hassle I have had so far in trying to sort this out.
£180 may no be much to some people but it's a lot to me !!

Posties care about this sort of thing, Royal Mail do not.

That's the whole point.

And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one
