1st Class Signed to DVLA - lost or stolen !!??

Post by Walnut1 »

Hi All, I wondered if anyone would be so kind to help.

I posted my driving license with the application for change of address on 04/March/2021 in Oxfordshire and still until today there is no update.

All the updates it shows: Thursday 04 March Accepted at Post Office

I had issues before where ID were stolen in the area I used to live in the North east by someone either insider or external. I spoke to DVLA last week and they told me they don't have issues with postal collection or backlog!!!

Any ideas what is best to do!

I know I can claim for the money and cost of the post but the most concerning issue is identity theft which could be the case if my post continues to go missing!!

Many thanks

Royal Mail often don't collect signatures at large users such as DVLA. Signed for is not tracked, so that is probably all the information you will get. So no cause for alarm.

You can claim the cost of postage back from RM if no record of delivery is logged after 3 weeks.
