Hi,
I had a parcel coming in to UK from China (tracking number: LZ109756545CN) and as a tracked parcel it clearly showed where it was, there was no issue in customs and it was lagged as "delivered" on 23/07/2020.
Unfortunately parcel was not delivered, no card/information was left for me and I have not received any help from Royal Mail so far. Contacting vendor didn't do much as they are based in China and it will probably take time for China Mail to reach out to Royal Mail.
Would you be able to advise or help in any way of locating this parcel?
Thank you in advance for your help with this matter.
Kind regards,
M

2 possibilities jump out at me. Its been delivered as addressed but the sender had the address partly wrong, so it may have gone to an address on your street or, its gone to a similar address but different street name (close instead of rise etc).
The other, and I am afraid China is known for this in the Postie world, it was either a duplicated item (they send many items on the same number), or a scam.
My best advice is to go back to the seller and double check the address they have for you.
The 3rd possibility is that the postie delivered it to the wrong address, if so the sender needs to put a claim in.

Thank you for your reply.
Vendor did provide proof of sending it to me, Pictures of stickers which were on the parcel - with my correct address, then there was no issue on its way in to UK as per tracking.
I'm afraid that 3rd possibility of parcel being deliver to the wrong address could be what has happened, but would there be nothing I could do here on my end?
As I have said in my initial post this might take a long time for them to log a claim with their China post then China post reaching out to Royal Mail... we are talking weeks maybe months considering today's day and age.
And this claim months after the fact might be invalid because of how much time has passed.
Just looking for anything I could do to not wait and waist time, as money was spend, and I was left with nothing...
Kind regards,
M

You could put a claim in, but as you are not RMs customer all they may do is send you some stamps.
If you get the vendor to put a claim in then they can claim postage back, they may also be able to claim for replacing the item (or refunding you) but that's dependant on the service used and the original postal authorities rules.
You could ask RM to investigate but it would be difficult to ascertain what happened given the time element since delivery ocurred.
If you paid by credit card you may be able to claim from the card issuer. Its possible depending on your card issuer and their rules.

Thank you again for your help with this matter.
Will reach out to vendor again, currently they have stopped replying to my emails and definitely will reach out to my credit card company.

According to track and trace its a Parcelforce Item, and it's waiting for Customs Clearance. https://www.parcelforce.com/track-trace ... 15949367CN" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Hopefully, the item is not a banned, or restricted item. I suggest contacting Parcelforce to see if they can throw any light on it.
