Hi,
Is it possible to send mail (small parcel size with a prepaid barcode label) purchased on RM's Click & Drop website (or using RM Ebay postage) from a franked mail box?
These boxes seem to have slightly wider openings than standard post boxes and I was wondering if it's possible to use them to send small items (just the odd one, not loads) paid for by either of the above methods.
Thanks

That`s perfectly fine if you are happy not to get proof of postage.

Thanks! I thought it was possible but wasn't completely sure and couldn't find the info anywhere.
It's a pain having to go my local post office (now located in a garage) and queue up to post a small item that could much more conveniently be dropped into a post box. I've found that post office staff often begrudgingly accept prepaid mail, as if you were wasting their time by being in there and not handing over any money.
I'm surprised that Royal Mail doesn't have any standard post boxes with larger openings for small parcels, or at least I've never seen one.

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
