Hi, I'm new here, I can't see an answer on previous topics to this question......My road hasn't had mail for 10 days. I understand that Postal staff are off sick/ really stretched and that this is a difficult time. Customer Services have told me that my postman is off sick and other staff have their own routes to cover. I don't understand why sometimes a postman on another route cannot be diverted to deliver mail/parcels to my road even for one day. After all, I have a different postman once every 6 weeks when my postman has his regular break. Unsurprisingly, Customer Services cannot tell me when my road will next receive mail. They make it sound like we have to wait until my postman is back at work. Next, I am concerned that there is a backlog of my mail/ parcels at the depot. Will I get it all?? I'd be grateful if somebody could shed a light on the procedures at Royal Mail. I live in London.
