Hello,
I am a seller on ebay and send about 20 items a day. I have a business click and drop account and purchase all my labels on there. Due to the coronavirus, I dont want to go to the post office due to social distancing.
Is it ok and allowable to post signed for and special delivery through the post box?
Thanks

We have had this question with respect to Signed For only a few days ago:

If you do this you will lose the ability to claim for loss or damage: this applies to both services.
Special Delivery goes through a completely separate pipeline to the normal mail. If you drop it in the postbox it will go through the normal pipeline for part or all of the way, and there is will be no facility to scan the mail for tracking purposes. The SD pipeline also has a lot of extra security and is prioritised over the normal mail. So if you do this with SD, you will be paying a lot extra to get sub-Signed for service.

It is fine for you to post 2D items into a postbox if they are not signed for or special delivery items.
