Wrong Postcode but complete full address is right.

Hi there,

I ordered an item off Base.com (who send their items via Royal Mail) and put in my full address when I noticed my auto correct had removed one of the digits of my postcode so instead of CT19 (Folkestone) it was CT9 (Margate), the item was shipped on the 25th of January at 7:30am but have had no update since in regards of dispatch etc, all I have to go on is the fact it shipped on the 25th and that I put my full address in the mailing details.

Will my Item not arrive now due to that or will it still come this week?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

If everything except the postcode is correct, it will delay it as it goes through the machine sorting, but as soon as it gets to a human in either a Mail Centre or Delivery office, they should direct it correctly. I would add a few days to the expected delivery date.

So would you say that as it was expected to be here on Tuesday/Wednesday I should expect it on Friday or next Monday at the latest. And there isn't a chance of someone not reading the address surely? Just am very pessimistic and panicky when it comes to stuff like this.
