Hi, New member, I have a query, perhaps a bit of an odd one...basically, I use a Click & Drop account for sending all my post from my office, I have used this for around 2 years...
Anyway, on Friday 20/12/19 I had 12 items to send out, all were packed up correctly labelled and the correct manifest paperwork printed out, I had seven 1st class recorded and five special delivery.....anyway due to the Christmas post I have been keeping a close eye on tracking to see that things have been signed for and arriving in good time.....
All the packages were collected at the end of the day from my office building, the paperwork has been signed and all the parcels went.
Checking the tracking online, out of the five special delivery items which were all in the same batch and collected at the same time, one is showing as "We're expecting it, The sender has let us know this item will be with us soon."......the rest of the special delivery packages have either been delivered or have some kind of point of reference as moving through the delivery system.
I sell on eBay so it is quite concerning especially at this time of year, as buyers are usually buying for gifts and are in no mood for things becoming lost in the post etc.
My main question is, how can all the packages be collected and the paperwork signed for, but one of them is showing as "We're expecting it", I would of at least of expected it to of been showing as arriving at my local main distribution centre in Birmingham, which is the usual thing I see when checking any Special delivery, as its first point of reference in the system.
Any help or advice welcomed. Thank you in advance.
Pretty nervous....don't want a neg on my 100 percent positive feedback account and I don't want to lose an expensive item in the post either.
I guess I am pretty much just stuck with waiting it out and hoping that on Monday the package will show up at some point on the Royal mail track and trace page....

One of my special delivery items from a batch is showing as "We're Expecting it" but all collected and signed by the collection team.
Well my parcel has finally shown some tracking, I post it in the West Midlands, its only tracking shows, sender preparing, then it magically (thank goodness) shown up as arrived in Glasgow!
Usually my tracking would show Birmingham then onwards from there.
