TRACKING LABEL MISSING

Post by jesims01 »

A second class signed parcel was collected as usual from our mail room and would have expected it to be delivered within 3 days as normal. The customer contacted us saying they had not received the parcel and the tracking number does not exist. We suspect the tracking label has come off the parcel between our premises and the Royal Mail sorting office. Will the parcel still get delivered through normal post as it has the paid franking label on the parcel but not signed for? or is there another reason the system does not recognise the tracking number provided by Royal Mail labels. And sorry to say Royal Mail the help section on your website is very limited and the automated system is not helpful.

TRACKING LABEL MISSING

Yes it should still be delivered unless the address label also came off. However, as you say there will be no tracking.

Also just a quick clarification this is not an official Royal Mail website, but having used their systems to answer questions on here I agree with you, its clunky, slow and not easy to navigate.
