Is there still a chance of this being delivered?

I posted an important document via 2nd class signed for on the 26th. If i log into my royal mail app it is still saying it was accepted at the post office on the 26th.

Is there still a chance it could be delivered or is it safe to say it might be lost?

The important question is: where did you send it to? Royal Mail often don't collect signatures at the sort of places that receive large amounts of documents, such as banks and the Passport Office. Note that Recorded usually only has two scans, when it is accepted and when it is delivered, so if the second is missed then you will get that message.
