My package today was supposed to be delivered to Dunfermline (Amazon Refund), but it was delivered to the Edinburgh Mail Center. Where is some employee signed up and got it.
Why was the parcel taken there if the box clearly indicated the address?
I'm only guesing here but as Dunfermline is not a million miles from Edinburgh and Amazon probably get a lot of returns, perhaps there's a special journey from the mail centre just for the Amazon stuff?
Yes, but on the box it was another address special Amazon return centre.
Now, the parcel was delivered to another place 30 km from the destination without any warnings.
Very Large businesses have their mail delivered by Large Vehicles, which the Delivery Offices don't have. Also, firms like Amazon do the same in reverse, we collect mail direct from them, it wouldn't be good business sense not to have the Lorry with a load in both directions.
Indeed it looks as though RM/Amazon has a system in place for returns
