I was expected to receive a parcel today but now the tracking says pending and As requested by the recipient, we're holding this item at Manvers DO. The house is easily accessible and there was people in the house so there is no reason the parcel should not of been delivered, there was no knock and no card was left. I never requested the item to be held at the delivery office, tracking number is KT012563658GB
Delivery will be made as per the recipient's instructions, which is usually on the next working day.

Can't explain why postie apparently didn't gain access to knock/leave card but in my office normally when a parcel/letter is scanned as retention
on a Saturday it means delivery will be attempted again on Monday. We do this a lot for schools, businesses, offices that are closed on Saturdays.
However if you're none of these, I've scanned items for domestic properties as property being inaccessible for many reasons - local emergency services incidents, utility works, tree felling, dog in garden or loose in the street, blocked access (skips and other building work on the property, including open trenches, thick mud, wet concrete), road traffic collisions, blocked roads due to local events, livestock loose on the road, fallen trees after storm.

The postie did look like he was in a rush, as i did see him next door but i thought he was going to just go to other addresses before mine as he sometimes does that, there is no obstacles in the garden etc, i do have a dog but he is never let in the front garden.
Hopefully it will come on monday, i understand if the postie was busy.
