Hey RM guys, just wondering if there's a knowledgeable employee there who could get to the bottom of this.
Do business collections, for standard (non-priority/signed) mail OBA postage (not DMO/C&D/anything with address info uploaded), have any official collection form / certificate of postage to which package address details can be added?
For Post Office, and afaik Delivery Office drop-offs, there's these: https://business.help.royalmail.com/app ... of-posting" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (which in theory could be generated electronically). For Priority there's the SD/Intl and Signed-for booklets which collecting officers can sign.
However, for standard mail, I can't think of any official document that exists. Any of you guys know any better?
I ask half out of intrigue (I had my own business for 10 years where I simply created my own document with customer addresses, with no issues). And half as I'm now at another company having exactly the same issue, with a collection driver who's refusing to sign their own internal documents, and an account rep who's just said there isn't anything official they can use. Which may or may not be accurate.
Thanks,
Christopher
