I fancy my postman!
We have some banter and flirt a bit. I know he's single. But unsure if he would be allowed to ask me out. Would the Royal Mail code of conduct prevent this?

Not in the slightest beyond the normal common sense rules.LuckyLyn wrote:We have some banter and flirt a bit. I know he's single. But unsure if he would be allowed to ask me out. Would the Royal Mail code of conduct prevent this?
He may get a bit of inappropriate ribbing at work if it became common knowledge, but that's par for the course in Royal Mail.

There are a few things you should know before considering a relationship with a postman.LuckyLyn wrote:We have some banter and flirt a bit. I know he's single. But unsure if he would be allowed to ask me out. Would the Royal Mail code of conduct prevent this?
1. Most of us are slightly OCD, I don't know why but we are.
2. We tend to wake up early even on our day off, if you like a lie in it might not work out.
3. Don't go to the cinema on the first date, I haven't seen the end of a movie in 20 years, if it's warm, dark and comfortable we'll fall asleep...see also pubs with comfy chairs or any social event after 10pm.
4. Even though we're all relatively fit on the outside our bodies are badly broken on the inside, be gentle.
Most of all be careful as there may also be some unforseen circumstances, In my case it started with some harmless flirting then before I knew what was happening we were married.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share
