Sending to Channel Islands

Post by m_banana »

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can make any sense of my tracking information.
I sent a package with EMS to Jersey on the 9th, it arrived in the UK and was exported from the UK from the International hub on the 14th. I assumed this meant it was on it's way to the Channel Islands. Yesterday there was an update that said 'Sorted' and that it was on it's way to the delivery depot. However, this morning, the message about the delivery depot has disappeared and it has been 'sorted' 'sorted for export' and 'prepared for export' again, all at the International hub...
Does anybody have any insight as to what is happening with the package?
Thank you!!

I don't believe Jersey is treated as international mail by Royal Mail, so without a tracking number to see what service is being used its difficult to advise further.

Yes. Thats going by Parcel Force which although part of RM do things differently, it all looks good at the moment.

You should be able to track at either PF https://www.parcelforce.com/track-trace" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or Jersey Post http://www.jerseypost.com/track/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I think PF is the better bet though.

Thank you so much! That's good to hear. The receiver is getting really stressed as it's taking longer than they thought, and their worry is rubbing off on me! I was worried that pf were trying to send it back to me!
Thank you!
