Royal Mail Branch code

Post by leerickerby3 »

Hi,

Sorry if this is in the wrong location, I am racking my brains to try and find the Royal Mail code that is printed on the front of an anonymous letter, it's very faded, but it looks like 13702029.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Thank you

Royal Mail Branch code

As that number has 8 digits it probably isn't related to the Post Office branch code which is 7 digits long.

Is it printed on a roughly 2.5" square label on the front of the parcel, that also contains an indication of the letter class in larger letters (e.g. "1LL")?
