Hello to all,
I would like to ask you , i had 2 packages that were shipped to me from Singapore (with Singapore post) , they both were shipped with difference of 1 day.
The one was already received today here in Greece, they were both shipped to Greece, but the second one , by a mistake of the SG Post employee i think , was sent to GB , and not to GR.
I still have no update , and the package is days now in :
HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC, ARRIVED IN THE UK
But i don't have any information ,nor to my local postal office, not even SG Post, and noone can help me.
Has anything like this happened to anyone else ?
Thank you.

Re: Strange tracking code and solution ?
Don't worry, once Customs notice it's been sent to the wrong country they will pass it to Royal mail for sending to Greece. The delay in tracking should only be a few days.

Still no update.
I contacted the royal mail and they can't even see the tracking number and that is on Heaythrow DC Airport.
Why so much delay? From 21 , its still there.

It's misplaced to UK , they didn't have to scan it or something. The destination is Greece!

It's not "common" because it's been misrouted to the wrong country, but its is common that there are lengthy delays in Customs. It joins the queue till Customs get to it then they'll realise its misrouted and pass it to RM for onward transmission to the correct one.
Incidentally, even though the misroute wasn't RMs mistake, they'll still have to cover the cost of rerouting it.

Strange tracking code and solution ?
It's impossible to say, some stuff is going through customs in hours - before Christmas some stuff was taking 6 weeks. It appears to be a random process and unfortunately as an unofficial site we can't guestimate with any confidence, even Royal Mail wouldn't be able to give you an official answer because it's completely outside their control till Customs pass it to them.

Strange tracking code and solution ?

"Dear Mr XXXX
Thank you for your further email.
If there was a tracking update saying that the item was sent back to Singapore then we would advise you of this. However, there is currently nothing to suggest this is the case, as the last update indicates that the item was received at Heathrow on 21st January. The standard procedure from here would be for the item to be forwarded to Greece.
Please note that because mis-sorted items will be forwarded on straight from Heathrow, they will not be processed through our network in the same way, which generally means that additional tracking information through Royal Mail is unavailable. If it is received by ELTA then the item may be trackable with them.
I hope you find this information useful and if there is anything else we can help with please let us know.
Regards
Oliver Mintz Lowe
