On delivery?

Post by Dorkthrone »

Hello!

Just wanted some advice from people's personal experiences, my parcel (tracking number: LK001374993US) was marked as 'on delivery' at 07:17 this morning. The postman has been already, with just a letter. What's the likelihood of this showing up as a separate delivery later on today? Or will it arrive tomorrow?

Thanks in advance :)

In some areas parcels and / or signed for items are handled by a different postman / woman. So quite high.

Thanks for your reply :) Still no sign. I phoned Royal Mail customer services and they said it could be as late as 6pm - this doesn't make sense to me, as the website states it's 3pm (or 4pm if you live in a rural area). If not, it will arrive tomorrow. Kind of a pain, as today was my only day off and I'll be at work the rest of the week. My local delivery office have a habit of marking stuff as 'on delivery' then leaving it a day or two before they actually deliver it. Are they allowed to do that?

The 3pm and 4pm are only Royal mails targets for delivery up to 6pm is more than possible even later in some areas under pressure
