What winds me up at the callers office

Post by Terryk »

As a customer I go to my local callers office most days to pick up my P O BOX Mail.

This time of year it is obviously busier than normal but what gets my goat is...

People without the manners to get off their phone while being served

People who present their P739 card and then spend 20-30 seconds going through their pockets looking for ID

People who turn up four hours after the card was left and then spend 2 minutes arguing the odds about why their parcel is not available to collect

People who come three weeks after the card was left and wonder why the item is no longer there (and spend 3 minutes arguing the odds)

People who haven't got their P739 card (and spend 4 minutes arguing the odds and then want to see a manager)

The counter staff have a lot more patience than me! Happy Christmas to you all.

(PS - in a different league but did make me smile when a woman told someone on her phone in a loud voice that she was "the Post Office". Old habits die hard)
