Hi,
RU739960820GB
After 2 days, RM tracking shows my international signed is still sitting at the post office where i handed over.
Where or whom should i contact to know the real status of my letter?
I appreciate any suggestions by forum users!

Where was it being sent to?
Also worth noting that it was posted after 4pm on 17th so that could be after last collection for that post office so would not have been picked up till 18th and as such may have only just reached the mail centre a couple of hours ago and not due a scan as still in process of being processed at the moment

It was sent to INDIA.
My receipt shows it was not posted after last collection.
The letter i sent from the same post office (and same service and destination , i.e. 'International Singed' to INDIA) on 18 December is progressing (RU739960793GB)
18/12/15 19:22 ON ITS WAY TOHEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC EDINBURGH MAIL CENTRE
18/12/15 18:47 ITEM COLLECTED EDINBURGH MAIL CENTRE
18/12/15 13:22 SENT AT POST OFFICE 283-289 Calder R EH11 4RH
But, the one i sent on 17 December is not showing any progress! (RU739960820GB)
Date Time Status Track point

There has been a fault with the track & trace for several years which gives intermittent problems of exactly this type. It isn't as common as it was, but it still happens.

Hi Snaggletooth
Thanks for your reply!
I still confused here, even though it is not tracked can i assume that the letter is going through the actual delivery pathway, it suppose to go (OR) mis-sorted somewhere and sone one will bring it to actual track again?
By the way, how the mis-sorted (or something similar to my case) letters are handled and how long it will take, do you have any idea!?
Regards
Sound

You can assume that it is probably going through the system just fine in terms of delivery (though slower than normal because of the time of year). If it actually was lost I would expect to see a dispatch tracking point on there (this would take ages to explain, even to someone who works for the PO/RM). However, experience says that if I am right about the cause then you probably won't get any tracking at all. Put in a claim form 5 weeks after sending and get a refund.

Hi bsound, what was the outcome of this? The same thing has happened to me with a letter posted to Australia on 05/02 and not showing any progress through the system
