Hello
I have been waiting for a parcel for weeks, but I have not receive that parcel yet. It was sent from Madrid (Spain) to London on 30th November. Yesterday (14th November) I tracked it on http://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, and the track point is Heathrow Worldwide DC. I saw that my parcel has been there since 4th of December.
I need to know where exactly is my parcel, why I did not receive my parcel yet when it has been in the UK since 4th of December, and how I can get my parcel. It contains my papers to vote by post in the Spanish elections, and tomorrow (16th November) it is the last day to send back those papers to Spain. I need my parcel tomorrow. It is very important I get that parcel.
The reference number is: RE856018738ES
Thank you

Re: LOST PARCEL
There are big delays at Heathrow customs processing items at the current time, you may be lucky and itll arrive tomorrow, but no one here can really help you with this other than inform you of the probable reason for why its been held up.

Re: LOST PARCEL
I am sorry, but I cannot understand a delay of 12 days, for a simple letter. Have you been having delays since the 4th of december? Everyday?
I would like to present a complain. How can I do it? Heathrow Worldwide is basically violating my right to vote in my country.

Re: LOST PARCEL
There have been delays of 3-4 weeks going back to August, they are probably worse now due to the Christmas rush. Though it is unusual to hear of a letter so badly affected, it's normally parcels that have a problem.Celia LI wrote:I am sorry, but I cannot understand a delay of 12 days, for a simple letter. You need to complain to your MP. Royal Mail have no control over customs, who are a part of government.Celia LI wrote:I would like to present a complain. How can I do it?
This would make an interesting case for a human rights lawyer! You would have to start by complaining through official channelsCelia LI wrote:Heathrow Worldwide is basically violating my right to vote in my country.

Re: LOST PARCEL
Ok, some of you said that there were delays... Explain me this: my Spanish friend also applied to vote by post. Her letter arrived at Uk on the 3rd of December and she received her letter on the 5th of December. Same letter as mine. They contain the same papers, they have the same weight... Both came from Spain... Are there delays??? Really?? Are you sure??

Re: LOST PARCEL
absolutely there are delays and as we have said upto 6 weeks at this time of year, some items get through quicker than others doesn't matter if they are identical or not, just look at the other threads in this forum people complaining about the exact same thing, also items are not necessarily processed in order so items received after yours may clear customs sooner just so you are aware

we can't. As posted in various places on this board we are not an Official Royal Mail channel. We can only offer advice and insights. If you want to make an official complaint I suggest contacting Royal Mail direct.Celia LI wrote:Explain me this: ?
Certainly if you continue posting in the nature of your last post you are less likely to get advice here again from people who give of their free time for no reward.

Re: LOST PARCEL
Lol. You certainly live up to your username, don't you? You've been running a rampage on every thread in here. Just to let you know, from what I can see from your tracking, your item was posted on December 23rd. The 25th and the 26th are classed as bank holidays. The 28th was also classed as a bank holiday this year, as Boxing Day fell on a Saturday. January 1st is also a bank holiday. The fact that your item is even in the UK at all is a miracle. However, customs now have it and at this time of year, they have LOADS of stuff to process. The average wait time is around two weeks, but can take anything up to a month; this is something that sellers, USPS and Royal Mail have absolutely NO control over, as HM Revenue and Customs is operated by the UK government. All you can do is sit tight and wait - customs will process your item eventually and then it will be passed across to Royal Mail. Be patient - remember, a watched pot never boils.Angryboy wrote:Did u get your parcel?Heathrow seem like theivs
