National Return Center

Post by Chwp »

Hello,
my parcel is in National Return Center. Why? RM have not tried to deliver it to me.

Any ideas? Parcel number - RF357266114SG.

Customer service is really bad - 5 working days and no response on email.

Regards,
chwp.

Its impossible to say with any certainty whats happened but according to tracking

09/12/15 14:58 ARRIVED IN THE UK

and then just 29 hours later

10/12/15 19:44 ON ITS WAY TO NATIONAL RETURN CENTRE

That's very unusual without a "Do Not Fly" status.

It could be that the address part has been damaged in transit and they have sent it to NRC so they can investigate, this is the most likely explanation, but not the only one.

Last time I had a customer who was enquiring with a similar issue, it turned out that the parcel had been highlighted in a mail centre as a "suspicious item", it was then sent on the the National Returns Centre for inspection, and then onward to it's destination.

As far as I'm aware, unless in some sort of emergency or security/police involvement, that is the only place with people authorised to open and inspect the mail.

Could be nothing like that of course, just suggesting one possible explanation.

mobile phone? Then you may have issues depending on how the battery was sent with it, it may be in breach of the no fly regulations and as such may be destroyed unfortunately
