Langley Exchange Bureau

Post by Hamodey »

Good Evening everybody,

I am fairly new to this site as I signed up today*

I have ordered Clothing from Hong Kong (due to their Summer/School sale down there) - this was via a third party website away from the Store themselves. This order was made on the 12th of August - rightly so, the order took its time and was then dispatched on the 21st of August; according to tracking it took 4 days for the Item to leave, 24th of August item was in Air Mail being shipped. It has now Landed through Air mail in the UK on the 3rd of September at Langley Exchange Bureau. Previously my shopping in Hong Kong and services from there, the item normally comes within 7/8 days. However, through my research on the internet about shipping from Langley EB, I saw that it was take up to 4 Days to get to London and another day to be in transit to my house, Thus the package arriving at my house on the 8th or 9th of September I know its only been a couple of extra days, but from previous experience with 'Couple Days Late' postage it hasn't ended too well and some maybe even being lost or stolen. Furthermore, I would like to add the item I bought was a Aape/Bape Hoodie - which is above the average price for clothing seeing as this is a known asian brand.

Thanks, and I would love to be using this site again so any help with anything is grateful and appreciated.

Have a great day

It's probably with customs at the moment. Try contacting your local delivery office, it might be being held there if there's a customs charge to pay

Would this be Royal Mail or postal office?

That would be the Royal Mail local delivery office for the area you live in. The Post Office have no part in the delivery of mail, though you might collect something from there in certain circumstances (this isn't one of them).

From what you say, it seems almost certain that you will have to pay VAT and a customs charge on your item. That process tends to add a lot of extra days to getting your item compared to something with no customs charge. It is well worth checking if the DO has your item because the grey charge to pay cards do get lost / forgotten pretty easily.
