I sent a return through Royal Mail to ASOS on the 3rd of August. Today, 11th of August, it's still sitting in the Yorkshire Distribution Centre and has been there since Friday.
Today track and trace says -
07/08/15 12:42 ON DELIVERY YORKSHIRE DISTRIBUTION CE
07/08/15 05:19 DELIVERED07/08/15 YORKSHIRE DISTRIBUTION CE
03/08/15 13:58 SENT AT POST OFFICE
I know no-one on here will be able to tell me what exactly is going on, but I'm just wondering if delays like this are normal? Usually returns I've sent through Royal Mail go quite quickly. What does on delivery mean? I've checked with ASOS and they haven't received it. I've e-mailed Royal Mail and had no reply.

Re: Confused about track and trace information
Hi,
I was just wondering if your parcel ever made it to its destination? I posted some return items to Lindy Bop last week and my parcel still says it is at the post office where I dropped it off 4 working days ago and I sent it 1st class recorded. It should have been there by now not still in the post office. The annoying thing is I can not report it as delayed until 10 working days by which time I will not be able to return it.
Thanks

Re: Confused about track and trace information
1st class recorded delivery items go through the system along with the normal 1st class, the next time that it'll get scanned is when delivery is attempted. Is Lindy Bop a massive company? if it is they might pick their stuff up direct from their local delivery office or mail centreknittynatty wrote:Hi,
