Hi all,
I wonder if someone would be able to assist with a query please. I recently sent two parcels to Tahiti.
One was sent International Signed For, the other ordinary airmail.
The ISF tracking is showing:
"Your item, posted on 29/05/15 with reference **************** has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in INDONESIA."
My concern - and my customer's concern - is of course, that Tahiti (French Polynesia) is nowhere near Indonesia.
The full tracking shows:
30/05/15 AM DESPATCHED TODJAKARTA INDONESIA INDONESIA
30/05/15 00:59 RECEIVEDUNKNOWN BAG - MISSING DUN HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC
29/05/15 19:32 DESPATCHABLE TOHEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC BRISTOL MAIL CENTRE
29/05/15 19:12 COLLECTED BRISTOL MAIL CENTRE
29/05/15 16:19 ACCEPTED AT POL
Is it likely that this is a misrouted parcel or that Indonesia would be the natural route for a parcel to Tahiti.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Parcel to Tahiti
its a case of Human error - they have not read the destination correctly obviously. The good news is that the standard practice worldwide is to send it on to the correct country. It should only cause a slight delay.
