Parcel To Spain is in Canada

Please help,my parcels final destination is Barcelona,Spain. Yet it is currently in Canada.
I paid for international tracked and signed and paid for enhanced compensation due to the value and yet here i am worried sick as the parcel is in the complete wrong country.

From the looks of that tracking it made it to Spain and then the Spanish eqivilent of Royal Mail has for some reason sent it to Canada. Can you try the tracking number at https://gls-group.eu/EU/en/parcel-tracking" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; just in case it was GLS who handled it within Europe

Thanks for the advice,i tried that but unfortunatly get the following
"No results.
Please check the tracking number(s) or shipment reference(s)."

There has been no further update on the tracking at royal mail since it arrived in Canada 4 days ago. The buyer is growing increasingly impatient,yet i have nothing to tell her other than its on its way all be it via the incorrect country.

Canada's version of Royal Mail will probably either return the item to the UK or forward it back to Spain

Yes on the off chance i thought maybe it would work if i put my tracking number into Canada post tracking site.
To great relief it left Canada on the 7th and arrived at ESMADB (from a quick google search this is a processing centre in Madrid) on the 8th
So fingers crossed it shouldn't be too long now before its in Barcelona.

Nope seems i am having no luck.

From Royal mail track and trace it hasn't been updated since it arrived in Canada on the 6th.
Last update from Canada post was on the 8th and that was that it had arrived at ESMADB on the 8th

Just wish if according to Canada post it arrived back in Spain where it should be on the 8th,that it would be in the Spanish postal system by now,which it doesn't seem to be, have also tried the trackitonline.ru site too but no further forward really. Would have thought if it was in Madrid on the 8th it would have reached its Barcelona destination by now.

Maybe tomorrow will bring with it new updated results.

2 weeks on Tuesday since posting,beginning to wonder if its ever going to get to Barcelona at all.

Best guess at this point is that the item is now stuck in Spanish customs

Seems today i have some movement and the parcel is now at least appearing on the correos site.
It says in the delivery process,so will update again should it get delivered.
