Intl Tracked & Signed - No updates for over two weeks

Need help regarding a purchase made in the UK (ship internationally to Singapore)

Tracking number: RS069592339GB (International tracked and signed)

Item cannot be tracked via my local courier, there is no information available. I'm not sure if it has even arrived in my country yet.

I recently purchased another package from UK and shipped via Royal mail International tracked. Was rather speedy and no issues at all.
Was able to track item via my local courier once it arrived at my country. Tracking number started with LB, what's the difference?

What seems to be the problem here with my current pending Track and Signed package?

From the looks of that tracking it's in Singapore, probably stuck at customs

I actually checked with my local courier on the status. They were unable to give me any updates based on the tracking number simply because there is no record of receiving my parcel.

Shouldn't the tracking status be updated the moment it arrives in my country?

No - the moment that it arrives with Sing Post, different countries have different arrangements with their customs/border force. Some get checked before they get passed to the carrier, some do the checking as it processes through their International MC.
