Hi,
Generally I've had very few problems using Royal Mail with only the odd mishap. I'm confused however as to the status of a recent small package being sent to Australia.
It's been saying DESPATCHABLE TOHEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC for the last 19 days! Does that mean it's not even made it from my local Mail centre out to heathrow yet?
It's tough trying to explain this to the customer waiting for the item. Any advice or info?
I should add that RM Customer Services have told me it's probably stuck in customs at Heathrow which doesn't make sense to me if the tracking says it hasn't got there.

Re: Stuck on way to Heathrow??
Just a little followup for those that may find this useful.
The parcel finally arrived yesterday after 23 days. The tracking site is still showing it as on the way to Heathrow. I spoke to another customer service person who was more helpful and suggested that the parcel had probably missed it's scanning, or perhaps the label had become unreadable and therefore essentially become untrackable. The parcel was still obviously delayed, but this seems a reasonable explanation of the tracking discrepancy.
