Wrong postcode on parcel

Hello,

This is my first time on this forum and nothing came up about this tpic when I searched it so hopefully this wont be a repost. But the problem I'm facing is the 2nd half of my postcode is 9BE and my parcel, that was dispatched yesterday, has the postcode 8BE on it. Obviously I had struck the wrong key when placing my order and I've only just realised.

The rest of the address is fine, including the first half of the post code. And according to Google Maps, 8BE doesn't exist (when the first half is included).

Can someone shed some light onto whether this parcel is going to arrive or not? Cheers,

Yes it will - the parcel will be sorted to the office that covers the first part of the Post Code - LE1, or AA1 for example - when it gets there they won't even read the post code they'll read the address and as long as thats right you should get it okay.

In the past definitely.

Now with the company employing every Tom, Dick and Harry it’s a 50/50 whether it goes to you or is returned to the sender.

Either way it may take a little extra time than you would normally expect.

In a PM you said it was the incorrect Posr Code was 1 mile away.

If the postcodes are the same town ie LS for Leeds then the chances are pretty good. If you go over the Border - like LS to YO then probably not, and it will most likely be returned to sender.

and it also says when i track my parcel that "your parcel is at romford mc and will now be delivered to your local delivery office for 3 days now and nothing has changed, what does that mean and what should i do,

and is it possible to just pick my parcel up by my self?

From the looks of the tracking I reckon Romford MC believe that the item is for an address covered by a certain DO and keep sending it there. That DO believe it isn't and keep sending it back to Romford MC. We've no way of knowing if it keeps getting sent to the same DO

Surely somebody can google the address an at least try at 123 if multiple st names.have done it many times.

One strange thing when trying the tracking number on the RM tracking page, normally it says what service was used, do you know what service the sender used (Tracked, SD, Signed For)?
