Someone has sent me a letter with the wrong postcode? :(

Hi,

I've been waiting for a letter sent 1st class since Monday, still not arrived so I had a look in to it and they've sent it to the right address, but didn't put the county and they put the postcode TW24 instead of TN24..

How likely is it to get to me still? I'm quite worried as its rather important documents.

Is there anyone I can contact (e.g. Twickenham sorting office or something where it might have gone) to ask if they've received it?

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Most likely delayed a day or two as there's no TW24 postcode district in the Twickenham area, and hopefully to Ashford, Kent very soon.

I would say a better then fair chance but it is possible that it will be returned to sender. If they put the town on the address this will improve the odds.

To be honest there is no point - Delivery Offices receive 100s of thousands of mail items per day (58,000,000 a day for the whole country) there would be a vanishingly small chance that you would speak to the postie who dealt with it, and even less chance they would remember.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Hope you get it okay, but I would check with the sender occasionally to see if it has been returned.
