What does the yellow wing mean?

Post by Neilp9 »

Hi all,

I've seen a few Royal Mail vehicles recently with a yellow front wing or yellow section on the wing.
I originally thought it was a replaced wing from damage but I keep seeing them.

Can anyone please put me out of my misery and tell me what this means?

Thanks.

Yes, nothing to do with the same as the front of trains are yellow, so they're more visible and you can get out the way PDQ. :nana

I haven't got a clue what you're on about.

Are you saying the yellow bits are for visibility??

I suspect some bright spark in WCM came up with this nonsense.(again). Next there'll be a yellow flashing beacon on the van's roof. You read it here first!

So they can blend in with the double yellow lines most RM drivers like to park their vans on..thus confusing all those pillocks of society(sorry..pillars)...traffic wardens bless em.
