Need help quickly please

Post by Ronnieetv »

Ok so I've got 4 mousepads and I've put them in a sort of jiffy bag, I've measured and weighed them and they go under the maximum dimensions/weight of a large letter so I'm guessed they're classed as large letters?

I've just got 12 1st class stamps, can I stick 2 on each 1 and it will be ok to send?

Also can I put them through a royal mail post box or do I take them to the post office?

Are you sending them individually (1 per package)?

If so then 2 1st class stamps would be more than enough. If sending more than one per package then you'll need to check the total weight. 90p large letter cost covers items up to 100g in weight. Any heavier will require additional stamps.

Two 2nd class stamps (£1) would be more than enough ( 10p above 90p 1st class, 31p above 69p 2nd class )

Two first class stamps (=£1.20) is a safer choice as it still covers you if the item goes into the 250g weight band (£1.20 1st or £1.10 2nd). I would be surprised if 4 mousepads plus envelope was under 100g to be honest

I got the idea from his post "can I stick 2 on each 1" that he was sending the four mousepads separately to different addresses.
Might be wrong though, It isn't clear.
