USPS Parcel taking forever

Hello there,

Someone sent me a parcel from America a while ago and it still hasn't reached me here in the UK yet. The USPS Tracker says that the last place it was scanned was Chicago, IL on 18th October. Where does it go next? I also entered my tracking number on the Post Office/Parcel Force website and it said this:

Please come back later
Special Delivery Guaranteed™ items are first tracked when they have reached our mail centre. This may be late in the evening on the day the item was sent.

Information on your Special Delivery Guaranteed™ item is not yet available.

Also here's what the USPS Tracker said:

Not all stuff from the states is special delivery once it enters the UK. Chances are that the item is stuck in UK customs. It's not unusual for items to get stuck in customs for a month or longer
