Wrong post code on international delivery

Hi everyone,

Dario here. My parents sent me a package from Italy two weeks ago but they wrote down the wrong post code (instead of BS8 1SG they wrote BS25 G....). Do I have any chance to receive my package? If not delivered is the package going to be sent back to the sender? Is there any official post office or post storehouse where I can look for my package?

you more than likely should receive it, it might add a couple of days onto its journey but usually it will go to the wrong office, gets examined there then the incorrect post code is usually scrubbed out and put back into the system and will then go to the correct office and then should get to you, if it doesnt one of two things will happen, either it will be returned to sender if there is a return address on the item or returned to the undelivered items office in belfast where they try to determine the sender and return it from there
