Langley HDWC Paranoia

Post by Mordonis »

I ordered a package from Japan just before christmas, was given tracking information which said it had arrived at Langley HWDC. Not knowing what that meant, I Googled it? Which led me to here. So far, so good. But I've now started to wonder with the "Bermuda Triangle" of the Royal mail, Customs Delays and Charges, etc. If I should be paranoid about it? I Know It's still the holidays, and I should be patient, but I can't help but get paranoid about it.

So my questions are:

1. Is Langley Really a bad place for parcels?
2. How can I find out if I have to pay Import Tax on my parcel?

Thank you for any answers you can give.

1. No, but there can be delays at busy times and especially if there's a customs charge.
2. Wait a bit longer.
