Are there problems with deliveries to France?
A present posted from Cornwall on 23rd December has still not arrived. It was posted with a proof of posting certificate. Another Christmas present posted in Exeter on 7th December only arrived here in France on 10th January. It had a French sticker on it saying it had arrived in Bordeaux on 8th January. Is there a known delay or something going on with deliveries to south west France. Is it worth waiting and hoping the one posted on 23rd might still arrive? A brief conversation with a Royal Mail rep on twitter said to put in a claim. Reading the claim procedure looks like you can't claim if the parcel is to be delivered by another provider. What can we do? Please advise

We had big plane delays because of the snow.
Actually just looked and it seems they had our kind of weather with parts of over there getting bad...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
