Vote Yes O Yes

Post by Karnaktempleman »

:Applause :Applause

Give your self a great big clap on the back :Applause If you vote yes to a strike, Just remember, we used to have a mining industry :Applause We used to have a car industry :Applause We used to have ship yards :Applause .

NOW JUST ASK YOURSELF WHERE ARE THEY NOW

They are gone Defunct Dead just like John Cleese Parrot if you want to be that sick

VOTE YES Go On Strike have a laugh While you can afford to.

To continue with industrial action is madness, it just strengthens the competion not your union's bargaining powers.

Ask your union rep's why they were rostered day off or leave days during strike action, they did't want to loose pay did you ?

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of those rich Christopher Robin types who vote Conservative and miss the day when our chaps ruled the world and told the workers at home and the natives abroad what to do. Public school prat!

My rep has been rostered as on duty every day we have had a strike so he is loosing pay. Actually with the strings and the pay deal I've been loosing about the same amount of pay either way so I will keep on striking thanks. Perhaps you need to check your facts before posting. Anyway welcome to Royal Mail even if your opinions are different to mine.

VOTE YES O YES

Post by Karnaktempleman »

Hello again,

Well that seemed to have got your attention.

The objective of the posting was to provoke positive thought at a time when everyone seems hell bent on destroying a 300 year old service, unfortunately some of the rules and restrictions are nearly that old as well.

Just by way of answering some of the misconcieved assumptions, no I am not management, nor an ex public school boy, but yes I did have a good education.

I am a postman out in all winds and weathers, rain hail or snow. Mostly rain recently.

But now back to the real issue, you all work with some people who go sick at the mere thought of a sneeze, and others who go to the bog as soon as there is any real work to be done, you are already doing thier job for them and the company has to pay you as well as them, does that make economical sense ?

Allow the company to get rid of the dross, mechanise, modernise, move on accept the change, and the company will be a better place for all of those who are prepared to earn a living within ROYAL MAIL if you won't or can't accept change then we won't have jobs to go to for much longer.

Dinosaurs were unable to adapt to change..................

Did you see one recently ?

Please accept this posting as my personal view, no offence is intended to anyone.

The user name is intriguing though. Perhaps the name of the cat goddess might have been a bit nearer the mark. Bastet. Or judging by the time and tone of your first post in this thread, Seti.
